Fighting the New Drug: This is Your Brain on Porn!

On any given day there are more clicks to pornography websites then to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat combined.

It is my life’s work to shed light on Pornography. As Clint Eastwood would say, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Yes, Porn can be all of this and for this very reason I am fortunate to be offering a 2-hour workshop on The New Drug: This is Your Brain on Porn. I will be teaming up with Adler Graduate School and Continuing Education Partners to present the 21st Centuriesbiggest dilemma: Our society on Porn.

Our society has a great deal of uncovering to do: Pornography and the intricate spider web it has woven. People come into my office with many questions around Pornography.

How do I know if I am addicted to Porn?

Do I watch too much Porn?

What are the pitfalls to my Porn habit?

How to I explain to my loved ones, family or partner this is what I like? And yet I can’t seem get away from it.

I miss my partner and what to help them?

The list goes on and on.

The topic of pornography addiction is vast. This workshop will focus on understanding the fundamental history of pornography, answering questions of addiction with pornography and learning basic coping skills to pornography. It will also introduce the complexity of pornography being a healing to some wounds.
